I thought I would let you know some of the changes that have occurred over the summer and a few reminders of how we are tentatively planning on running our races.
1-SIGN UP CHECK LIST FOR ATHLETE PARTICIPATION
2-BIBS-Athletes will pick up a bib on race day (at the race office) and return the bib that day to a person collecting bibs at the finish line or to the race office (this is the athlete’s responsibility to return the bib).
3-RACE FORMAT-We are making every effort to have U14 and younger racers race in the morning and U16 and older race after the U14’s. Always check for any changes that might occur in the schedule.
4-RACE DETAILS TAB ON WEBSITE-Schedule, lift tickets and registration information is provided in this section by Thursday morning prior to race.
5-AWARDS-We will have an awards ceremony after each race (location and time will be announced at the race).
6-Region3 does not accept credit cards onsite. CASH OR CHECK ONLY.
7-VOLUNTEER SIGN UP – We will be using SignUp Genius again this year for our volunteer sign up. You will receive an email when the sign up is posted on the web site. There are many jobs on and off the hill when a race is going on and most of them are volunteer jobs filled by the parents of the racers. The more involved parents are in the support jobs, the better the race will go.
